Meet Elizabeth

I am a contemplative teacher, writer, and guide rooted in embodied wisdom, presence, and the slow work of transformation.

My work is shaped by decades of spiritual leadership, deep engagement with mystical and contemplative traditions, and lived experience with loss, love, and profound change. I am especially drawn to the places where suffering and tenderness meet — where wisdom becomes something we live, not merely understand.

How I Work

I do not offer answers or techniques to master.

What I offer are spaces of presence — places where people can listen more deeply to their own lives, learn from ancient wisdom without rigidity, and discover how transformation unfolds through attention, compassion, and courage.

My work is informed by:

  • Christian mysticism and the Wisdom tradition

  • contemplative practice and embodied spirituality

  • poetry, symbol, and lived experience

  • the understanding that our lives themselves are sacred texts

If you’re curious where this path takes shape in lived practice, you’re welcome to explore the journey outlined in Begin Here.

What Matters to Me

I believe:

  • wisdom must be lived in the body

  • spirituality should support us in real life, not pull us away from it

  • transformation happens in relationship — with ourselves, with others, and with what we name as sacred

I am especially attentive to those navigating transition, grief, disillusionment, or awakening — times when old frameworks fall away and something more spacious begins to emerge.

The Path I Offer

The offerings on this site — Wisdom Jesus Foundations, Mystical Christianity, and Inner Alchemy of Wisdom — reflect a single unfolding path.

They are designed to:

  • meet people where they are

  • honor different rhythms and capacities

  • invite depth without pressure

  • support living from the center in an unsteady world

Some people walk one part of the path.

Others walk further.

All of it belongs.

Closing

If you find yourself here, trust that something in you already knows why.

You are welcome — just as you are.

Elizabeth

 _________

“Elizabeth has a rare gift for weaving deeply personal, hard-lived wisdom—grief, joy, love—with clear-eyed, grounded theology. What she shared did not float above real life, but spoke directly into it. More than once, I found myself thinking, ‘Ah—so that’s a way to understand love, resurrection, and living on.’ There are not many teachers who genuinely show me new ways of seeing. Elizabeth did.”
— Andy Blackmun,  Director of Ring Lake Ranch (at the time of writing)
